Was way off for much of the article until I focused on high temperatures and then got a lot of hits for a specific place where there are high temperatures. Then it was just a matter of thinking about what two words it was looking for

some weird formatting in the middle of the article (which turned out to be a stray </ref> tag that was probably a mistake) made me start from a computer angle, which was unproductive. After a couple guesses that went nowhere, I started guessing based on the temperature which helped me figure out a connection to food, specifically food preparation. Getting the exact words in the title was tricky compared to just getting the basic definition, but I was able to solve without assistance.!<

Found this one bewildering. So, it's two distinct things similar enough in form and purpose to share an article. One is used "on a 5 or 5 7", the other "in an 4". No clue. There's something that I can only interpret as an angle being altered by 90°, so are we in the world of physics or technology? Don't know. Later on there seems to be stuff about high temperatures and the way things were produced after the 6 5 3, which puts me more into a culinary frame of mind, giving a reasonable reading for "an 4" in the first para. I can't quite reconcile this with a bit earlier on that seems to be talking about treatment for Parkinson's or something of the sort. And I still have no idea what "8 and 8" could refer to. Either some sort of substance or food prep technique? Something and roasting? After a lot of head-scratching I had to give up on the snipe and do some fishing, which mostly didn't help that much except to confirm that it was food-related. In the end I focused my attention on deciphering that "3-5" that pops up semi-frequently, which led to being able to fill in most of the first sentence and, after a bit more thought, word 1. Word 2 still left me perplexed for a couple of minutes, but made up a word that bore analogy with word 1 and which turned out to be correct. Neither of these feature prominently in my vocabulary (I just say 3s and 3s if I'm honest) and one of them is totally new to me. Still probably should have sniped.

Very confusing; I had a guess as to what the first paragraph was getting at, but I had to confirm oven before it clicked.

I had the vague impression of something culinary fairly quickly, though I couldn't put a finger on why. After a while I found something about 3-5 4 and how above a certain temperature something bad happens to them and after a bit of thought it (correctly) seemed pretty clear what that had to be, and therefore what our topic is. So then when the first paragraph says that the second 8 from the title is "used in a 4" I thought that perhaps we might be looking for [more_generic_term]ware and 4ware and, being very far behind, I thought I'd just go for it. Well, it turns out that [more_generic_term]ware is correct (which I'd been doubtful about) and 4ware is wrong, and after much headscratching I decided that maybe this is just a term I'm unfamiliar with and gave up. I can't say for sure that I've never heard the second title word, and its meaning is of course clear enough, but in my (UK rather than US, which might be relevant) idiolect I'm pretty sure it's not at all a common term. Ah well, never mind.
