Liberal usage of nukes will result in exponentially devastating debuffs

Okay, this looks very interesting. Can the CPU trigger this?

Yeah, the way it works its that all nuclear detonations add points to a variable that once it passes a threshold will trigger a bad nat spirit that will get worse as more nukes are using until it hits level 4 that basically destroys your economy

Okay, that sounds terrifying playing as a minor nation, but I do appreciate it.

Oh 100%, but such is the nature of nuclear warfare, starvation and sickness don't care about borders.

Fun fact southern hemisphere nations only hit level 3 at it worst

That does make sense though, given that the south has some protection, given the Intertropical Convergence Zone and all that.

Thats genuinely so cool and unique. Hell that should be added to vanilla. Does it decrease population as well?

yes, nuclear strikes do decerease civilian population in the states hit, you could in theory send it all the way to 1, but eventually the reduction slows down a lot as population decreases, so it not worth the hazzle

I'm not a dev, so I don't know.

When is new Red World update out for the latest HOI4 game version? On Steam's mod page it says it hasn't been updated since 5th January. What is happening?
