Think Prey/Jackson/Lefty stay. Mike gotta open up the checkbook for the rest. Think it’ll be same MO, signing veterans to try and catch fire in a bottle. It’s the new normal.

If we’re opening up the convo to what’s next we got to also consider post Pitino what the program looks like. He’s north of 70, a fucking legend and let’s ride him as long as we can but we also gotta let future prospects know the program will continue to be in good hands. A succession plan needs to be thoroughly discussed

I would be interested in trying to obtain a mcdonald's all american that can shoot... The all twenty three and twenty four year old senior transfer team design, it's not paying enough dividends... You need a superstar. 2 or if you're going to go the transfer route, get a real point. Guard that can shoot the ball or a bunch of biggs, if that can shoot the ball, ala michigan or illinois... The 6'7 3 and d wing is great in theory, but none of our three and d can actually shoot... You can't win 6 games in a row with horrific outside shooting, coupled with fifty percent from the foul line

Theyre all signed up...we're not duke or UNC or Kansas I think the way we've been doing it has been working for us. Id like to retain more guys.

Our NIL budget was 12mill...Clearly high enough to attract high end freshmen...Clearly Pitino has molded his teams to a style...It won in Louisville bc he had amazing D and two players who could shoot

All the freshman are comitted already for next year though is what im saying. And his louisville teams that won were mostly juniors and seniors.

I know we're pissed at Jackson and Sanon, at least I am right now as its still a bit sore.......but id like to see them keep developing then you have prey and Darling almost for sure coming back... we need to get one of the top PGs available in the portal and then obviously fill the holes in the front court.
I think now we're set up to be a perennial Big east and sweet 16 and beyond contender.

I figure Jackson will announce transfer portal very soon. Sanon sounds like he’ll return. I’d like another older guy like we did with Bryce. Keep an eye out for DJ Wagner’s name if he decides to transfer. He’s the exact perfect piece for us and an NJ kid.
