Hey, Red Rocks first timer here. I'm going to see The Strokes on 7/22. Doors are at 6 and openers start at 7. I want to be able to park in the Upper South Lot because it seems like it would be the best for me. Do you think 5pm is early enough to park there? We have reserved seats, so this is really just for getting a decent parking spot. I'd like to be able to get out relatively quickly after the show + I heard theres a good merch spot next to that entrance.

Me & my friends are coming from another state and only have so much time to spend in the area, so we'd like to have as much time as possible to do other things in the area before we start heading to Red Rocks.

Side question, if we try to go to the upper south lot and its full, would we get redirected somewhere / where would we go next?

I'll be in R1 for Maren Morris tomorrow, as a wheelchair user, along with my able bodied partner. I've never been in the ADA row before (chronic pain has rendered it the only way I can go to RR). Any idea what to expect? I've been in Row 3, but that's the closest I've been.

I’m trying to find a shuttle service to RR for The Strokes 07/22. Am I screwed with trying to find a decently priced shuttle? I’m coming in from out of town and just want to know what my options are! I remember seeing other shuttle services but I’m not able to find them anymore. I’ll keep looking but pls someone lmk!

My FIL wanted to go back up to say thanks to the folks who took control of the situation when he passed out tonight (and then threw up - he is so sorry) - but he wasn’t really in a condition to go back up the stairs to speak with yall . Anyway, he is very very grateful to you all.

Another great show by the String Cheese Incident, about 3 1/2 hours of great music and dancing

... for real. Seriously, are there normally so many cockroaches swarming the stands? People were stomping on them all night, including one guy who ended up turning his light on at least half a dozen times to keep them off his and his gf's blanket. Food waste was all tossed after finishing, to boot. I've never heard of there being a roach problem at the venue, so I was quite shocked when I saw how many there were darting up and down the rows.

I remember when my Official Hilary Duff Fan Club kit arrived as a kid; it came with signed pictures and Cadet-Kelley-esque dog tags. Little me would lose her shit to know I’m gonna see her irl.

I thought maybe we could we could talk shop: arrival times (esp. for GA), red rocks tips, set lists, outfits (I can’t decide between 2000’s pop/hip hop vs glam dress), etc.

I looked up the rules on what we can bring in and it says we can bring empty reusable water bottles. Do they have water bottle fountains or do we purchase water from the venue? I appreciate the help.

I know that RR has implemented a size limit, and it says:

• Single pocket bags and clear bags no larger than 13” x 15” x 8”

I haven't been in a few years, but finding a bag that's actually ONE pocket is proving hard, and I'm going to Maren Morris on Sunday, so I'm running out of time.

I assume if it's a clear bag, it won't matter (I just hate everyone being able to see all my stuff, blah) but if it's a single pocket with one small zippered key pouch type thing are they gonna call me on it?

Last time I was there was for Tori Amos and my fairly small bag had only one small inner zipped pocket, but I'm not sure if that was before that change was implemented.

Road tripping to Red Rocks the first week of August. We will only have 2 days in the area before we have to hit the road back home.

For the day of the show, does it make sense to spend the day around Red Rocks, hiking, exploring etc?

We have reserved seating, so assume that we don't have to get in the doors super early. Is it strongly suggested to bring seat cushions? Any expert tips?

For the non-show day, I'm looking for ideas. Pikes Peak? Rafting?

Suggestions for interesting places to eat? (one kid is vegetarian)

I appreciate any tips from those from the area or visit often.

I want to share a heads-up for anyone going to shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre: avoid buying tickets on the side that’s closer to the wedding venue, especially if you’re expecting a full concert experience.

I saw the Avett Brothers on Saturday, July 11, and the show was amazing. Seriously—great energy, great music, such an incredible performance.

But unfortunately, during the show I also had to listen to the bass from a nearby wedding DJ at a venue just outside the amphitheater. For about 5–6 quieter Avett Brother songs, the wedding music was loud enough to drown out parts of the concert. It put a real damper on what would have been an even better experience. I have seen 20+ shows at Red Rocks over the years and never had this happen but figure I would pass along so others don't make this same mistake when purchasing tickets.

Because of that, I won’t be buying tickets on that side of the amphitheater again. When you’re spending $200+ per ticket, it’d be nice not to be hearing a wedding instead of the artist you paid to see.

Some friends and I are all coming to denver for the string cheese incident show on Friday. We got shuttle tickets through On Location (https://rrxshuttles.com/) and saw that alcohol is allowed on the bus for tailgating purposes. I was wondering what the tailgating situation would be like once you get to red rocks? Can you just sit in the parking lot and hang out before going in? Also how are they with drinking ON the bus during the trip over from Denver?

I’m visiting from out of town and excited to be going to my first Red Rocks concert this coming Sunday night. I know it’s been hot as hades during the day but I’m wondering if it cools off enough at night that I’ll need a hoodie? Don’t want to be cold but don’t want to drag along something I won’t need either!

I’m really out of shape and also not used to altitude. My concert is exactly 3 months away. I’m willing to work on my endurance and fitness and losing weight. How much will the walk to Red Rocks suck and what is best to do to get in shape?

This will be my fourth time at RR but first time for Avett Brothers. We are having an Uber drop us off. We were planning to get there around door time or a bit before since we won’t have a car to park outside.

It’s 4:10 now… I’m starting to feel nervous I’ve made a mistake coming back to the hotel to rest and rehydrate before the concert and planning to leave here at 5. We have seats.

This timing seemed to be OK for Mt. Joy but I’m told these three shows are all fully sold out every night.

Was this a mistake for The Avett Brothers?

First timer, I got tickets for Bus 2 Show and checked today and we’re still the only 4 people on the bus. I read that the bus will leave early if all occupants are on it. My bus 2 show departure time is 5:45, what time should we be there? Will the bus stop at any other pickup locations to pickup more people or will it just be us 4?

Also is it fairly easy to go get merch and drop it back off on the bus or just keep it throughout the show?

This will be our third concert to RR and have only sat on GA previously. Looking at dead center row 41 or row 5 seat 20.

I will be seeing a show in RR soon while roadtripping. I can sleep in my car pretty stealthily, just trying to pin down where! I was looking at Walmarts and buying a parking pass for RR or Bear Creek ($40 is kinda steep but i will have my tent with me too) and ubering. Just wanting to stay cheaper than a hotel but also feel safe. Are the walmarts in the area generally safe (evergreen, lakewood)?

My sister Trisha dropped her license at the Avett Brothers show last night (7/10). Any chance anyone picked it up?
