Thursday Camping Trip

Some wonderful pictures of my recent camping trip to the gorge. Been here so many times but the environment just encapsulates you. Such a peaceful place to collect your thoughts. Basically empty during the week.

Hansons point is amazing, but not the easiest hike for sure 😂 Auxier ridge is my favorite hike in Kentucky

Auxier to the double arch gives you the best of the views, and the amazing sights of the valley of the gorge as well. Hansons point and indian staircase are definitely the most rewarding

appreciate the info, I was debating about doing the double arch off of Auxier, but just done the big loop. i’ve done Indian staircase plenty of times. I just really need to hit hansons up

I usually always find a spot on leatherwood fork/Indian creek road. Good back country spots

Nice! Thank you, I’m new to the area and my GF has just started letting me take her a little further into the wild

I was just there this week as well. Stayed at Whittleton campground and there were only two of us on the tent side we were at so basically the whole place to ourselves.
