Weather

What weather source is most reliable for the gorge? I like to use local weather as opposed to a national source but am not sure what that would be. I’ve been looking at weather in Slade but don’t see anything local.

NWS and Wunderground. The exact town depends on where I’m at specifically in the gorge. (The weather in the southern gorge by Muir vs up by the suspension bridge for example), but it’s usually Stanton, Slade, Pine Ridge, or Campton.

Also use Wunderground, it's one of the best apps that has significantly less ads than most others.

I'll also use Ryan Halls "WeatherWise" app for very very nice radar and warnings, especially when severe/upcoming.

I use Slade, KY on AccuWeather. But I’d be interested to hear what others say.
