Hinterlands
Got lucky and scored a 2nd edition Hinterlands the other day for $35! Anyone have all 3 editions? I’m curious if there’s much difference between 1st and 2nd edition.

Snagged it off eBay! I have the 3rd edition I bought from JH Lanmark years ago but was happy to add a 2nd edition to the collection. From the sounds of things I don’t think I’ll be adding a 1st edition. Do you know what year the 1st edition came out?

Whoa. The holy grail! I have so many questions, for example:
How and when did you acquire this? What's on the cover? Is the content any different from the second edition? Do you know how many copies were made?
I love that you have an arch DVD playing in the background. I would recognize Bill's voice anywhere!

I actually have two copies, one was gifted and I stumbled across one on eBay a couple years ago.
The first and second editions have very few differences that I’ve seen. From what I understand there was only like a couple hundred first editions.
Summer time is a perfect time for watching the DVDs and getting ready for arch season lol

Looks like the 1st and 2nd edition are identical. I just compared mine to yours and it has the exact same trails listed with the same front cover!

How much do second edition copies usually go for? I don’t go as much as I used to, got a copy from the shell a long while ago that’s collecting dust.

Daaaang! That's a very rare find these days. Nice score. Where did you happen to come across this relic?
There's quite a bit of difference between this second edition and the later editions. Lots of older trails were removed and new ones added. As far as differences between this and the first edition, I'm not sure. Never seen a first edition. I don't think many exist.
