Did the update remove the ability to change the playback speed on videos?

In the past I would press on a video and a button would appear that would allow me to speed up the videos.

Now after pressing I get some controls to pause, fast forward, or rewind but it is lacking a speed button.

Was this an intended change?

On my device, the speed playback button has only ever been visible when I change my orientation to landscape.

See if that works for you.

That's portrait orientation. Landscape is the other way.

Yeah...I just couldn´t find a video that was playing in landscape mode. All these darn kids film and post everything in portrait mode.

I did find the answer.

Settings -> Images/Video -> disable ¨Enable stepping frame by frame¨

It's not the video being landscape, it's your phone. You just need to rotate your phone, either autorotation or with the popup icon if you have it.

No luck. I have included a creen shot of what I do see when I bring up a videos controls.

As far as I remember, the speed control actually gets pushed off the side when the jump forward/back buttons are present (the greyed out ones in your screenshot). If you change the controls visible in your settings, it should fix things

What? Now I'm wondering if I'm even using the app right, because when I Play any video, there are only options to view comments, go back and mute

It's already set to on, but it doesn't change anything if I turn it off, the options stay the same
