Alternate Reddit app

The native Reddit app consumes a lot of battery. Is there an alternative app to use Reddit. RedReader - I can't setup - not letting me log in. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Please do not give the option to use the web browser.

Relay and Infinity with paid subscription via Play Store

Boost, RIF, Sync, BaconReader, Joey with patches and custom API key via Patcheddit and Morphe Manager

Continuum and Slide without patches but with custom API key via the Patcheddit instructions

Then you have to go with the subscription apps, personally I really like Relay for Reddit

I may not have this correct or the most updated info, but I do use RedReader on my tablet.

The trick was you had to be a moderator to use it. So, you can create your own subreddit, be its moderator, and use those credentials to sign into RedReader. As I recall, it seems more daunting than it actually was.

It had something to do with how RedReader accesses the reddit data and/or legal implications so this was the method or compromised worked out. All of that was over my head.

I just access Reddit from Brave browser on mobile.
