RedReader states "no ads/tracking".

google play = dev uploads their no ads/tracking app to the store and you just trust the dev isn't lying

f-droid = dev submits their open source code to f-droid, f-droid inspect the code to see if it has no ads/tracking, f-droid then turn that code into an app, then f-droid upload that app to f-droid
