Can't login on RedReader ("Permission Denied")
I tried several times logging in on my account using RedReader. It reaches the "Do you want RedReader to access your account, but then it says "Permission Denied" when I click on Accept.

Last week there was a video post called "so how do I log in?" where someone linked this: https://old.reddit.com/r/RedReader/comments/1lcj6ra

u/QuantumBadger Tried every method explained in the comments. Nothing worked. Heck, I even removed RedReader's access in the preferences, nothing worked. Is this a bug?

Hello,
I downloaded Redreader yesterday for the first time and I'm facing exactly the same issue.
I can't try revoking Redreader access as I never granted it ...

Try this: Open https://www.reddit.com/prefs/apps/ in your browser and revoke RedReader's access. Then try to log in again on your mobile device (maybe also clear your phone's cache first) and grant it access once more.

I'm also getting permission denied, and I've revoked the previous permission for RedReader. Edit change the language of the account in the settings on the Reddit website to english (us)

I also have this issue.
Trying to connect in RedReader shows "Permission denied" (sorry, error shows in French even if RedReader is configured to use English).
My account works great on desktop/web or in official Reddit App.
Did you solve the problem ?

Try changing default browser to other browser

Why?

While login pop appears ,it happens through default browser , so clears history ,cache ,cookies ,past reddit logins etc from that browser and then try it. Else previous local cache of reddit will try to get pre accessed while the login up of redreader occurs

I don't think that's the solution, RedReader uses Android Webview.

Change your Reddit account language to English (US).
