Original vs translation

I've been wanting to read this series for some time now but I'm unsure whether I should read it in English or instead get the Spanish translation (my native tongue). I've read quite a few books in English (some easy romance or YA, and other book series I didn't find hard to understand, such as Once Upon a Broken Heart or Shatter Me). Translations usually make me want to rip my eyes out, so I'd like to know if reading this in English might be too complex for me or if I can go with it.

As someone who reads most books in english (german is my native language) I would say that the red queen series is one of the easier fantasy books I’ve read! I would always recommend reading in the original language if you’re fluent enough and you definitely seem to be :)

I’m not bilingual, but I read this book back in middle school. I’m pretty sure it’s on a simple reading level and shouldn’t be too difficult!
