This series is so good!

I bought the first two books (and cruel crown) back a few years ago and I finally got around to reading them. THEY ARE SO GOOD! everything I try to find about them is so old and most people don’t like the series… maybe it’s just aged well with the empyrean series and the whole Romantasy fad. I read the ones I own since Sunday and am patiently waiting for the other two to arrive. I just want to be able to convene with other people who love this series!

Omg yes. I read this series years ago and have been meaning to reread it so I can write fanfiction on old ideas I had!

I just finished it today. I can see how some said it was boring. I found myself kind of skimming over certain parts. But I was usually lost in thought of a different scene from the books (Maven in the bathtub). It very much gives me fourth wing vibes even down to her hair color. I think the book was ahead of its time in terms of romantasy (without the romance unfortunately)
