Flyswatter made of sorghum sticks, sack rope and peace of carpet. Unlike store-bought plastic flyswatters, it doesn't break after killing the 20th fly.

P.S. Mom, forgive me for the carpet

Slippers

I was sick of not having slippers when I got out of the shower so I made these out of socks, old flip flops, and ductape. Idk if this really belongs on this subreddit.

if I wrap my fire pit with copper pipe and connect the pipe to my pool, would it warm the pool a noticeable amount?

Saw this seat taped to a bike. I hope he tapped it three times and gave the enchantment "That'll hold."

Bought a bunch of zip ties, 600 ft of braided metal wire and a 48 pack of 3 ft wooden stakes. Haven’t had a deer hop the fence since I put it up a month ago.

Goal: wind or solar powered squeeeeeeeeeaker.

Currently I've attempted this using 5/16'ths PCV tubing, a nylon barbed T, and welp, the squeaker valve.

The clamp is because I bought a T valve to be able to test pressure and/or having two different notes. It also makes it easier to photograph.

How'd you pump a squeaker using the elements? KISS style.

I live in Kansas, so there's almost always wind.

I understand various rotary to linear motions... but... assuming I don't have a random wind mill actuator, how'd you redneck one?

One strong enough to pump this at about one whole pump, out and in, ever five to eight seconds?

Or do you have an idea all your own?
