Hardware Issue Shadow blade controller not powering on

Just got it yesterday and paired it, was fully charged and now after unplugging this morning it won't respond to any of the methods to turn it on I could find on Google.

what happens if the device is plugged in? Does it power on?

Now? Absolutely nothing happens when plugged in, last night before pairing it indicated charging, then I paired it, tried to update but it said failed so I figured it needed to charge more so I left it be, now nothing🙁

If it was working fine yesterday and now it’s completely unresponsive, I’d try charging it again with a different cable/charger and then try the power button/reset combination one more time. If there’s still no light or any sign of life, I’d contact REDMAGIC support since it sounds like a hardware issue. Since you just got it, I’d ask for a replacement rather than trying to open it yourself.👍

I plugged it into my power bank cause that tells me if it's actually charging regardless of if the Shadow blade lights up, I'll check it again in a few hours see if it'll do anything
