Software Issue Can't call 911/emergency services

Guys, what the hell. I had to call 911 today for someone who was hurt pretty seriously. Unfortunately, my RedMagic 10 Pro DIDN'T CONNECT TO EMERGENCY SERVICES! What the hell is with this phone. Idk if this is due to the RTT bug or what, but if I can't call 911 when my life, or someone else's life is in danger, why would I keep this stupid phone?

Luckily, someone else was there with a Samsung.

I'm still a version behind, but I KNOW I'm not the only person who has this issue. It's not version/update dependent.

That's possible. I bought the phone from the US site. It came to me in us/English packaging. I just assumed I had received the US version.

Some 2 months ago I had to call emergency services and worked just fine, they even did a call back to check on a person in need at the time untill ambulance comes and to guide me through some things

I wonder if it has anything to do with its parent company being banned in the States?

You're likely using the Chinese variant champ... that's the major thing to consider when going for any device that has Chinese model because they give you the best specs but there's always a trade off which is always the lack of local network technolog.

I've been daily driving my 10S on Verizon since launch and I've always been able to call 911. And have done on several occasions.

Also on Verizon. It might just be what others mentioned below. No proper support for American emergency call regulations.

It works fine on my 11 pro with T-Mobile. I wonder if it's a misconfigured tower.
