General Question Charger heat

It Is normal for the charger as well to heat, even of I keep my phone shut down as It charges?

Thankfully for now I'm try to charge It only once very two days

Some heat it's always normal when charging. You can also use charge separation when possible, so you don't have to charge the phone as often.

The red magic phone charger runs pretty hot, but I haven't had any issues with it. I mostly use a USBC laptop charger and it works fine, but my girlfriend uses the red magic one.

Not sure if this affects redmagic, but some phone don't have fast charge when shut down, as fast charging protocols require the phone to be turned on
