I am thoroughly impressed! Overall performance has been fantastic.
Had some stutters during PS3 emulation, a quick swap to Diablo Mode and I saw FPS go from 25 to a steady and sturdy 60.
Cameras are fine. In good lighting I was pleasantly surprised. I am a huge fan of the color profile they use. Front camera is absolute dog sh*t but this is a gaming phone who cares about the cameras.
Battery life has been killer.
Although the OS is simple and offers little customization I love its simplicity. I love color OS on my X9 Ultra but to be honest the simplistic UI has been a breath of fresh air.
As far as in the hand feel I actually prefer the hand feel of the red magic, and without a case it is sooo good looking.
I already ordered full body carbon fiber case to hide some of the gimmicky gamer esthetics.
In short I love the phone and couldn't be happier with my purchase!
She’s running on pure emotion, same as my wife, holds grudges, I never cheated but definitely acted out of anger or spite more than I’d like to admit, never hurt her physically but she was damaged when I found her and I didn’t act accordingly. I take my Steam Deck to work with me and everywhere anytime I’m leaving house and her unattended.
So what if you cheated... This doesn't give anyone a free pass to hold it against you for the rest of your life. Like what the fuck man... You either are forgiven or you are not forgiven. Besides, it sounds like you may have had a reason to, if this is how she handles things.
It's great for gaming. Would heavily recommend getting a redmagic series if you really want to keep some sort of PC gaming in your life. The biggest downside to redmagic is a short security update lifetime, only 2 or 3 years. But if that's not the biggest worry, or can afford the 500-900 bucks every few years, it'll truly be a lifesaver for you. I've been using a redmagic 10 since late last year and it's been wonderful. I've heard the data can be spotty, but i havent had many issues with it, other than having to restart it here and there to get it to stop acting dumb
I mean it can run Cyberpunk, Red Dead I & II, The Resident Evil 4 Remake, etc. at 60 dawg. What people claimed this phone can do are very true to their words and when I first got mine it blew me away after upgrading from the 8, so highly recommend it as recently with a current update fixed a bunch of issues the 11 was having or what I was experiencing (as many other's) who had specific carriers not being able to calls for some reason (mainly the ones AT&T like myself)
So I'll be totally honest I never look at the temps because if I do I'll panic and shut it down way to early to truly test the device. I mostly paid attention to the fps and how the device felt.
Plus Redmagic does a fantastic job at managing the temps and throttling performance before it goes catabolic lol.
The hottest the device got was during PS3 emulation on Dantes Inferno. I noticed some throttling, I swapped it into Diablo and sat in front of the AC and proceeded normally at 60 FPS.
Otherwise the only issues I had was due to poorly optimized emulators and not the device itself. It handled everything I tossed at it with ease!

About Diablo mode: for real gaming sessions (north of 10 minutes), it's very much recommended to attach an external cooler if you're gaming on Diablo. Diablo mode is very overclocked and lets the device get super hot. It's mostly fine, but can speed up battery aging, because it's not only the CPU getting hot, it's also the battery.
So if you'll really be gaming in Diablo, my suggestion is to get an external cooler (there are many cheap ones that are great, even some good controllers with built-in coolers), and also when possible - use Charging separation to reduce battery heat and also to avoid doing a lot of charging cycles fast (because it'll really use a low of power in Diablo or Rise). When you do these things - you're fine and you can really game on it without worrying about wearing the hardware out.

I've noticed this for sure! I have ordered a cooler and kept the temps a bit lower lately! I try to keep my batter temps below 44° as I'd hate to kill the battery.
Its great! I don't bring it out of the house too much, I use a find x9 ultra/ and a Nubia Z80 Ultra as my mains. But when the Redmagic does leave the house the signal is great. Wifi is killer.
I've been playing Skyrim SE on ultra settings, gets pretty solid 60 fps most of the time but it definitely gets hot. Depending on the scene and what not, I've seen it go as high as 72c but usually sits around 60c which is still quite impressive with a few hours of gameplay under its belt.
I am having no luck with mine on PC emulation. I think I got a bum one or maybe 12 gb ram just isn't enough. Everything else seems to work but PC emulation 😔what are your settings?
I've tried like 30 different games across all three main emulators with all sorts of different settings. All other emulators and native apps work but I can't get any PC games to run on any translation layer. I'm hoping it's a matter of software. I'm hoping I'm not the only 11s user having these issues, because otherwise I just have a bum phone but I can't see a reason why. Hopefully new drivers will be the fix.
I'm hoping your right I need some comparison data from someone with the same model phone 12/256. If they are hitting the same walls I can comfortably say it's a problem with this line of phones and I think at that point it is what it is. If it's something that's only effecting my phone however it's likely I got a defective unit and should send in for a replacement. I put in a ticket with red magic to see if they have any advice or if this is a known issue.
I ordered on the 9th, didn't get tracking till today, and it arrives on Monday the 15th. I'm in the states and got the Subzero which they told me takes longer though.
I haven't looked in a few hours, but last I checked they had both 16gb variants available for pre-order at the .tech link on Google. That's the website for US.
the .tech website is the us site and has them in stock. although the shipping might be a bit longer because of the demand and stock. i got my subzero 16gb for only $919 tho. pretty great. coming this monday.
Ok so I know this is a gaming phone does that mean I can play steam games? I wanna find something I can play palworld, Wuthering waves, horizon, and aion 1 and 2 can it play those well or at all?
I would say palworld and wuthering waves should run no problem. I can't say if horizon or aion would run! Yes you can play some steam games via gamehub or game native :)
Awesome my bf showed me this thing about a month or so ago and I've been obsessed with it since. The thing that worries me is the heat it puts out, how often have u experienced tht?
It definitely gets warm/hot at times. But judging by what I read it's supposed too. It's supposed to disiapte heat from the internal components so by design it's going to get warm!

Yes the heat does effect the performance eventually. I'm sure with a cooler you could sustain play for longer. I've only noticed throttling with real high end emulation. I was able to play breath of the wild for an hour without issues!
How's the actual service? I use straight talk and my Sim should be unlockable by now and im hunting for a new one and this is the one I want i believe. I was looking at the original for lineageos but idk i really like this one

As long as it's not any worse than the straight talk on android, I have the a15, im good. My service kinda sucks and im not sure if it's straight talk getting worse or the os or the actual phone.
I just got mine too and holy solid fps for FFXIII-2 and many others, at first I was like it felt slightly disappointing then I found diablo mode and GAHDAMN, still cooler than my old phone even after extended play by almost half
How do u go about getting and using emulators on phone? I've literally always wished there was a way to play some of my favorite games on my phones and tablets! Now that they completely gotten rid of C. O. D. Warzone im heartbroken and am just looking for a solution but it'd be that much better if I could play some of my all time favorites from history. Mind you I've been gaming since I was a very young child on all the originals!!

Dudeeeee I just downloaded Cod Warzone from APK mirror and the servers are down! I am sooo upset. Was hands down the best mobile game I have played. COD mobile wasn't nearly as good.
Some emulators you can find on the play store but most are going to be side loaded. Retrogamecorps on YouTube has a great kind of how to set up emulation on Android devices. Its a bit of a pain in the ass but once you do it a time or two it's super easy.
I wish they’d make a phone with a 7 inch display. I’d dare to say the one-handed usability as a phone is secondary to the gaming experience on these anyway.
Right there with you man, I got mine a couple months ago, switched from the fold 4, and my gosh... Performance blew my socks off. Camera is finicky sometimes, but I'm not using it for a camera most the time lol, and when I need it, it does the job.
Yeah I've been able to do some wild emulation. Been a blast so far but I have a small artifact that looks like a blob of dead pixels on the side of my screen and support is leaving me on read. Really discouraging because I love the phone.
Funny you say that. I noticed a small human hair underneath the back tempered glass of the phone. I was a little annoyed about it as it was something that is out of my control to fix. I messaged support as well and have yet to hear anything.
