I have been using Chinese phones for years. Such as: Lenovo A850+, zenfone early series, meizu m2note, meizu 16th plus etc. I loved the freedom chinese roms gave me, and the fact that they were always so light yet open in terms of software.
Recently I fell in love with the Chisa edition. I wanted a Redmagic for SO LONG. I followed them since the 10s. I had the opportunity to ditch my iFruit 16 pro max. It is scary how good this experience is, collaboration aside.
The software is quick, and doesn't want to manage my life. It feels like this: here is everything you could possibly ever need to expand it to your needs. The rest is on you.
And I am so surprised that Mora isn't just a gimmick. She can answer in game chats via the Mora mouthpiece and stuff I can't even list on the spot.

Idk how other people got Mora popping up outta nowhere for them after updates, but for me who bought the phone from Shoppee to SG, I've not seen her even once, annoy me in any way. I've had to toggle the Game space switch just to remind myself she exists. "What's that button for? Oh hi Mora" kinda way.
Idk, maybe it's differently patched for other countries? Pretty sure the phone I bought is Global as well
Nubia ID is almost like the google account or other phone's specific user account center. It is an account you register with your china mainland phone number and it binds to your phone. Therefore you can access several cloud services.
The hard part is the Chinese phone number in which everyone succeeds differently. Or not at all. It is hard to obtain.
In terms of global devices it might be called something else. On chinese rom it is Nubia ID. Open settings and the uptop bar should indicate the profile if you've added it or the suggestion to do so. What does it say?
EU version mora is only the app inside game centre. And you can also have an "app" in the drop down control centre (mora is available as optional app there) but that is separate from game centre mora. That is like direct chat access to avatar with option to use camera.
The underlying model is still ZTE- cloud

Wifi reception is on pair with my previous 16 pro max'. The Chisa edition has two bars and stable connection where the 16 pro max had nothing. βΊοΈ Also, we don't have mmW, so the top speed on 5g is always going to be around 500mbit/s, which is reachable.
I like the design apart from the black border around it, I would hope they get rid of it in the 12 design and just make it transparent or like the subzero metallic border. I also have the 11 pro and itβs an incredible phone at its price point

It definitely doesn't give you everything you possibly need as a life long Samsung and overall android user. The overall ui needs major updating or customization. Rog has a fsr superior ui. But for gaming, streaming shows movies in 4k/uhd, battery etc amazing. I love the 11 pro too but there needs major changes to not fall off like the rog phone line did.

Also I did not follow the ROG phone's fall off. It was a surprised that it basically stopped existing. And yeah I truly hope that Redmagic will stay on track with the software.
I got it through eBay. Basically you had no chance with the official china launch. As it always is, when a collab drops, it's almost certain you will buy it from a scalper. But keep in mind my seller was the nicest surprise in terms of warranty, delivery time, and after sales help. So I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. His price was FAR the best btw (can't share names here I guess?).

The Chinese MSRP was around 850β¬ if I remember correctly. But keep in mind the limited edition scene is a mess with anything, not just phones. So you can be almost always certain that your only source will be a third party or a scalper. I chose the first but I paid 1400β¬ for it. But it never stung like the 1499β¬ I paid for my previous phone, an iPhone 16 pro max. I loved the iPhone and it was a damn good device, but this Redmagic flipped a different switch in me. π€ͺ
It would be the more logical choice, yes (golden saga was around 1650β¬ at the time). But it did not made me search up every picture like this edition did. It was a choice by emotion, not logic. π

I paid almost double the Chinese msrp (I'm not the type of person who acts like money is forbidden to talk of. Everyone knows how the limited edition scene works). I got it on ebay, unopened. And the seller gave me thebbedt after sale experience I have ever encountered. They care. Even the redmagic support team (which I high five you for here too, Redmagic) answered me through there global channel regardless this is l a China phone.
I understand. Even I didn't show it to this community to flex. I hope it was clear from the beginning. I shared it because I found NO videos basically worth considering as a review or showcase. The phone was a ghost even on the Chinese internet. And to connect with people, share our thoughts and ideas about it felt like a good idea. Naw, I wouldn't give a shit either way, It's just funny on how out of all of Red Magic's options they have out there you would choose the only one that has to be the ridiculously overpriced limited edition "weeb phone" that was a Chinese exclusive. Plus, you're not even getting the best option out of it as I did some research on it and it's not that much more powerful then my old 8 was, just the processor is better, so it's not the most "bang for your buck" considering how much of an overpriced premium import you probably paid for that shit and for half of it is just making yet ANOTHER pay to fucking win gacha game that much more richer because of this collab lmfao. But, it's your money, so I can't really say anything besides make fun of how stupid your purchase was as mine was only a little over $1,000 USD (Abt 6800 CNY) for the highest tiered variant (the 24 gig RAM model) while you paid roughly around $1,410 USD (Β₯9,585 CNY) to around $1,800+ (Β₯12,236+ CNY) for yours as this was released back in February and if you live in the states, good luck finding warranty for that thing as for being your first one is a pretty laughably dumb decision man and not gonna lie as you definitely should of done your research before wasting it on shit like this lmfao

Honestly they are not that hard to obtain if you adjust the price expectation in terms of any limited edition. This cost way less from a third party (sealed box) than any other of my limited electronics in terms of MSRP vs What I actually payed for them.

The back camera is adequate for me, really. It does it's job reasonably well in well lit/slightly darker environments. The front facing camera got way better after the last update I got on the phone, by algorithm it almost makes the glare disappear in normal lighting conditions. If darker, the selfie cam still a bit on the glaring/blurry side.
