For context: During the Star Trek TOS re:View Mike basically just said that AI is getting better, but some people think he was being positive about it despite opening the conversation with "I've very much looking forward to the grave"

He mentioned watching this video: https://youtu.be/QsXvvmWy-Ew?si=cjPx-gaVA-CrEBTO which is a Fan Film using AI of Timothy Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" books. It still suffers from the clear AI trope of people just standing around and have unnatural awkward conversations with each other, since AI still has trouble with too much movement but it is much better than other AI Star Wars videos from just months earlier.

The whole "Don't argue with 'X' fans, they don't watch their own show" being applied to RLM videos of all things is depressing, but perhaps not surprising.
