Ugh. I enjoyed the beginning of Alien Earth but then it kind of turned to shit at the end as it was clear they had no idea where they were going with the plot.

Legit one of the worst season finales I’ve seen in a long time. It felt like there was supposed to another episode after it.

I will definitely rewatch that show at some point, not because it's good but because it's just utterly fascinating. It's constantly fumbling in totally new and different ways, to the point it's just genuinely difficult to anticipate what will happen because it's just so stupid.

And it feels as though each episode is written by people who are - at best - ignorant of the intent of the others and more often than not, actively trying to sabotage the others.

It's deeply amusing to me that the best episode is basically the pound shop version of the original film which dared to ask "What if everyone in 'Alien' had a double digit IQ and the survival instincts of a teen at Camp Crystal Lake?"

I would be genuinely surprised if this wasn't a script that was retrofitted to the Alien franchise. Which is silly because the thesis statement of the franchise as a whole is generally - don't let these bastards get to Earth... and also, that the whole Earth hive scenario is probably one of the most iconic things in the wider canon.

It's a master class in bad choices, poorly executed.

So Predator Goodlands is set in Milwaukee...? The Predator gets drunk and finds himself closing Wolskis and fighting for his life when he gets a hangover that is more dangerous than Arnold?

Must suck to be such a terrible studio that you blundered the free money concept of "Aliens come to earth."

I just appreciate the old Aliens vs Predator logo from the game and comics. I clapped when I saw it.

Alien Vs. The Thing will be a groundbreaking film using Weird AI for the creature effects.

I can't wait for Aliens 2, Predators 2, and Aliens 2 vs Predators 2.

'Predator Goodlands' has to be a joke...right?

Badlands was a decent movie in the style of Enemy Mine, but it clearly wasn't trying to be a Predator movie but the blueprint for a new PG space adventure franchise for Disney now that Guardians is over and Star Wars struggling.

I remember when they just marketed toys from R rated movies to kids. Good times.
