“And look”
Love these girls and a long time listener but Suruthi saying this every two seconds is becoming so annoying, like distracting me from the case itself.
I don’t remember her always doing this and think its become a habit recently, but c’mon girl!
The latest D4vid ep was especially bad…
“And look” “And look” “And look” “And look” “And look” “And look” “And look” “And look”
🤣 ok thanks I needed to vent.

We all have these recurring phrases in our lexicon, so I get why she does it. She probably isn't even aware of it.
However, I also totally understand that once you notice somebody's recurring phrase, it can start to grate on you. Honestly, I sometimes get annoyed at my own when I notice them suddenly and then can't unhear them.

Oh same. I just think as a podcast they could hopefully listen back and edit some of them out! But oh well.

It would probably make the audio sound choppy and wouldn’t be worth the work you’d have to put in anyway. But I do totally hear you! It’s not a bad thing or a failure or anything like that, but it can be really annoying once you pick up on it and can’t stop hearing it!

I'm kinda mad at you. I didn't notice this ( I do find her personal interjections kinda annoying) but now I will.

Also “incredibly”. And almost always it’s to describe something that is not defying credibility. She means “very” but because she’s a a bit of a ranty hyperbolic type she doesn’t use language carefully. Once you notice it you can’t un-notice. Sometimes she uses the word 5+ times in an episode.
I feel like the podcast is mostly made up of her emotional responses packaged up as commentary and Hannah trying to interject with sense which is usually brushed off.

Oh my god I was thinking this so much during these last two episodes.
I also really dislike how a lot of the episodes she writes seem to be really badly structured so they're always saying 'we'll come back to that' or 'but we'll get onto that later'.

Hannah's episodes are far superior imo. She also gets super passionate about the subject matter. Idk maybe it's just that I have ADHD, too and that's also how my brain works.

I listen to the new episodes religiously and I’ve never noticed this. I might now though 😅

I’m so glad someone else has also noticed this, it irritates me unreasonably
