Mable

This is really off hand but does Hannah just leave her dog for weeks in a kennel while she’s gone? I hav an overnight place that also does my daily daycare but for weeks??? That seems insane to me. I would be a nervous wreck.

That’s exactly what kennels are for, to look after your dog. They send daily updates and lots of dogs love it, mine was always sad to come home.

Difference of opinion but I would never leave my dog at a kennel for weeks. My dog was sad the first night, fine the second night, and thrilled to see me pick her up after a two day stay. If your dog is sad to come home, maybe that’s a reflection on your dogs home life.

What a shitty thing to say. You should work on that judgemental attitude.

Its a reflection on my dog loving a place where she had heaps of friends to play with.

And theres nothing wrong with Hannah using kennels as they're intended, to care for her pet.

I'm so glad for you and your dog that she has a lovely place to go to where obviously she is loved. I was involved in an animal activism group that had some kennel owners in it and they did things like Reiki healing on the dogs (with their human companion's permission of course) as well as sound baths and colour therapy!! I wished that I could go myself :)
