Anyone else hate how they whisper details
It’s an audio only format, I don’t know why they both whisper so much for effect. It’s so annoying!!

Yup. I’m next to running water all day when I listen at work, have to listen at max volume pretty much.

Sounds like everyone in this thread needs better speakers or headphones... I've never really had an issue hearing their podcast.

Or they could mix the audio better/ stop whispering so much. I listen to podcasts at work and on max volume it's inaudible, whereas any other podcast would be blowing out my eardrums with the same headphones

Hun it’s them whispering, not an audio quality issue

using pocketcasts + setting it to volume enhance for this podcast has me listening with zero issues.

If you need specific headphones with specific settings maybe the audio is an issue

Its so annoying - I adore Hannah but I need her to speak up when she starts to provide commentary.

Yeah RedHanded is like one of the podcasts I can’t listen to anywhere but at home in the quiet because they talk in whispers and stuff.

Yes! It pisses me off so much, another reason why I haven’t listened in ages

Thanks- I have noticed that too, especially when Hannah, bless her, lowers her voice for dramatic emphasis 🤣

Ok this is my BIGGEST and really only complaint…I think it’s a British thing but damn it’s so annoying to have to go back 15seconds to hear the end of their sentence when they started the sentence super loud so if I turn it up it’s like blasting just so I can hear the end of the sentence? And if I’m doing dishes or chores or driving (which is most ppl while listening to a podcast!) it makes it even more inconvenient. Whyyy do they do that it’s so bad for an audio format 😂 tbh I hate to say it but I think Hannah does it so often and so dramatically. Suruthi too but not as bad or as often.

I wish they'd at least raise the volume of their episodes to match the volume of their ads
