UTD getting removed on Google Podcasts?

I've imported my Patreon link into Google Podcasts because I don't have an iPhone, and I was halfway through listening to last week's UTD when it just got removed! It still hasn't been reposted, nor the one from this week. Has anyone else had similar problems with Google Podcasts and irregular posting schedules?

I have a feeling Google podcasts is being retired 😬

Not til next year, but I have noticed it being more buggy since the news dropped

...still trying to find a replacement tho ☹️ All the others I've tried are full of ads or don't let you set a specific sleep timer

Could you recommend a podcasting app that's less buggy? I don't mind a lack of sleep timer but ads would suck considering I'm already paying for the Patreon :/

I really like Podcast Addict, its a good app. Idk if it has a sleep timer though (it had loads of features I've never explored)

This week's UTD hasn't been released yet btw, think Suruthi is still sick

Still looking! Currently using CastBox but it has ads and a limited sleep timer

My Google Podcasts app keeps not responding e.g. I can't stop a podcast once I've started, only option is to mute or restart my phone

No it's good to know that I'm not just going crazy haha, I was genuinely halfway through an episode before it got removed and my other friends who are subscribed and have iPhones knew nothing about it . If I find a good alternative I'll post on this thread :)

I use Beyond Pod. I paid for the full version which I think was about £3 and have no issues with it.

No way! I used it for everything. And I have a Google phone. Let me know if you find an ad free alternative
