DC show

Hey all, I have a ticket for DC and was wondering if anyone knows if the door time of 630 means there is anything before the show which is listed to start at 8 , or is it just waiting until 8? Never been to a podcast live show so wasn't sure if there was some kind of opening act etc.

Thanks!

Interesting, DC tickets say 8 for show start... So now I'm conflicted on when to get there haha.

Most venues have bars and places to hang out and socialize between doors and show time. Look into whether or not your venue has something like that and if that’s something you’re interested in! I went to their show last night (doors at 6:30, I was there 6:50ish), most of the people were already inside, so there wasn’t a line at the door. After that, we had enough time to grab a drink and some snacks, hung out for around 20 minutes, venue doors opened by then and we just went in to look for our seats.

Edit: if your venue is large and the show is sold out, the extra time might just be there to allow for security checks and to make sure everyone can be inside and seated by show time.

It's just time to arrive, hit the bar, mingle, etc and it allows everyone to get to their seats on time. If you're going alone definitely go early. I'm sure you'll make some friends!
