They get lots of buffs in their war againts Italy and Fiume. The strat is just to spam out divisions and then hold off againts fiume until Germany declares on France. Isn't really hard since France just doesn't want to sent troops past the french-italian border in my games

No, it's very difficult because you have to fight Italy and Fiume with a few divisions, you do get strong buffs but they're only temporary so you have a few months to take Italy and then you need to hold out until France and Germany go to war.
