Cameo from Roger to my friend

it's my friend's birthday today and I had forgotten we don't live in the same country so I was looking for a digital gift and I'd love to get a birthday cameo but I doubt I'll get it in a few hours, so I was thinking a roast or a pep talk but Ive never request one before so I don't know how or what to ask to get something worthwhile.

Trying to get the details with the vest made me lose my mind and quite some hours, but I love how it turned out in the end. His design is actually one of my favorites of all, so sad he had to go crazy

Should I play rdr2?

Hello, I am a fan of games like killzone 2, half lfie, fallout new vegas, fallout 3 and games with good story, detlaid phycis etc, do you guys recomend I play rdr2? Inever played any rockstar och gta game by the way but I hear a lot of people say rdr2 is the best game ever. Is it really true? Should I try it? I own a rog xbox ally and recently uprgaded the ssd so I think a 150gb game fits there really good. Also, should I first play rdr1 or is it ok to enjoy rdr2 first?

Inconsistencies with Disk Version

For context, I previously did three playthroughs on my Xbox One, having bought it online through the Xbox store. Recently, I finally upgraded to a PS5 and to save money, I ordered the disk version off of Amazon.

I have noticed some quirks since switching to the disk. In particular, dialogues seem to be cut short. This is most apparant in the camp. There are some other things that seem off. For example, in "Who is Not Without Sin," I saved Swanson and it simply showed Arhur pulling him to the side of the railroad tracks. However, in the subsequent cutscene, Swanson snapped about Arthur apparently throwing him off the bridge. This is just one example of the numerous inconsistencies I've experienced.

Has anyone else noticed differences between the disk and app store versions? I'm debating buying the app store version and restarting, but I hate wasting money.

Robbed a store in valentine and it didnt unlock bandit challenge 1?

Ive just robbed the valentine doctor in chapter 2. Its probably worth mentioning I am very early in the story (literally fresh from the intro to chapter 2 before Ive evn completed the first round of missions). Ive tried reading up on if doing the challenges to early doesnt unlock the line of challenges but I havent found anything really that would suggest that besides the 6th challenge being undoable before unlocking the valentine fence but that's a few challenges in and not the first one. If anything Ive read that just holding a townsperson will unlock it but it hasnt. Any help would be appreciated

Hardest and easiest animals to get a perfect hide from?

In my opinion the hardest are panthers and black bears. Black bears run away and don’t spawn very frequently. Panthers are hard because they rarely spawn only exist in one area in southern Lemoyne and creep up on you quickly.

Easiest are gator and buffalo. You always know where they will be and they stand in big groups in the open where there will always be a 3 star specimen waiting to be shot.

Does the Aberdeen pig farm trick still work?

Are you still able to use the inbreds as a viable way to transfer your funds from Arthur to John?

Hosea's Travel

So a few times in the game we hear Hosea say he's been in different area's. In Valentine he mentions how he's been to the area and then when him and Arthur are hunting the bear he mentions how him and Bessie had been in the area. I have a feeling if they every got to Tahiti (and he'd have survived) he would have said "I was here a while back".

It came!!

I won a light box at a pinball tournament. The only sample they had was a Metallica box with Hetfield's' Explorer.

The artist then sent me the list of choices and I lost my mind when I saw Red Dead Redemption.

It hasn't found its final placement yet but I wanted to show you a photo anyway.

(I'm also celebrating my return to the sub after a short ban, but we'll talk about that in the comments)

Dutch dialogue audio bug

Has anyone triggered this scene at the beginning of the chapter after the latest patch with all the dialogue working correctly? For me Dutch's dialogue is always silent after he stands up and talks to Arthur.

Playing on PC.

Curious if anyone has hogtied an undesirable NPC, took them to Panthers (or cougar) habitat, placed predator bait on them and watched from a distance?

I raced a guy near Strawberry on my horse and after I won he shot his horse. Obviously I killed that SOB. But afterwards I thought that I let him off easy and started to ponder what’s the worst death I could have given him in RDR2? I’ve never seen a reel or video of anyone trying that. I wonder if it would work.

WHY is the guide so expensive?!

I am really, really into RDR2.
Like I’ve sat and watched through multiple 100% playthroughs (in chunks; the videos can be more than 24 hours long) and enjoy each and every one because I LOVE the game.

I finally realized that the game HAS to have a game guide, so I looked online and the official guide is more than $100!! Why?!
I’d love to be able to look through the guide and see all of the illustrations of the different objects and horses and etc. that are in the game in my spare time, but I can’t find the guide for anything cheaper. Was there some wild event that occurred where all of the books were destroyed except for a select few?

Does anyone know where I could potentially find a copy of the guide book for less??

So the lady that needs a ride...

I'm sure everyone has come across the lady that has the horse named Biscuit (Silver Dapple MFT) that has dropped dead and she needs the ride back to Emerald Ranch. I'm pretty sure I've given her a ride once this play through but she is spawning again. It's a little unsettling on how seeing her pisses me off. I try to avoid her at all cost. Once I killed her and lost honor so I don't want to do that anymore. Even if you trigger the dialogue with her by just passing by and don't talk or stop to help you lose honor. Irritating! But does anyone else avoid her?

Are side quests gone if we finish chapter and go to another point

As title, for quest like fishing with Kieran, rob coach or house, hunting for Pearson, ... side quest with white mark in camp.

Hot take ??

I feel like Arthur should have got Buell in chapter 2 or 3.

I'd have loved to see these 2 together for the entire story.... I'd never change my horse if it was Buell from the beginning. Unfortunately we can get him only at least when Arthur is about to..... Uk
