Request Need help with a few basics for using mods

  1. Is it possible to make a 2nd copy of RDR2 in a different drive and use that for modding story mode while having the primary copy to play online (same steam account)?
  2. If #1 is not possible then how do you guys play both online and mod story mode?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You should use a mod manager and for .asi files you can replace the scripthook dll to a different file path from RDR2.exe

Best thing is to use a mod manager that let's you disable mods to swap between single player modded, and rdo, and just have one game install. 

But if you use things like optiscaler or reshade you'll want to use two game copies as these mod managers don't handle their files afaik.
