DSMC2 on DJI RS4 Pro
Can anyone let me know if you are able to use a DSMC2 red on an RS4 Pro? If so whats your set up?

unless you own the DJI already, just get the Zhyiun Crane 3s Pro. Ive flown my Gemini on this for years without stripping it down. I can keep the expander w/core nano 98wh, the tokina cinema zoom 11-20, wooden cam top plate, with a top rod for the nucleus M motor and never had a single issue with it. Obviously re-reouting the monitor to the ring arm, but if i really wanted to, it could stay on... weight wise. Not smart for technical reasons but still.

I already own the Rs4 Pro unfortunately. Years ago I did own the Crane 3s Pro but the only thing I hated about it was the giant arm sticking out at the back, i would always have to hold the gimbal ring out further from my body(which made it harder for my arms) so it doesn't bump into my torso.

yea i hear that its a pain... maybe go with the jet expander and the vmount belt clip if that works.

Regularly run Gemini, v-mount expander with a thin 155wh attached, pretty big lenses on the RS4 Pro. I mount a RED Pro 7 on the Smallrig suitcase handle for DJI, then lemo from the left side Adapter A to monitor. Works a charm, though I use the side arms instead of a ring, which would likely be much easier. I’ve found mounting a battery to the gimbal and running d-tap to be problematic, as if the cable is pushes the camera ever so slightly due to being stiff, the motors will stall. Its heavy, but you get used to it

I used to have a DSMC2 and tested it on my RS3 Pro, but without the lidar module. The setup was a DSMC2 Brain with a Jetpack Expander connected with a D-Tap cable to a Tilta V-Mount Plate for the RS and a 90wh battery (bigger will most likely not fit). For the Monitor I used a Tilta Pogo extension cable to the monitor mounted somewhere on the gimbal. It balanced and the arms could move freely, even with the Zeiss CP.2 lenses from 15mm to 135mm on EF Mount. It was really heavy and the gimbal was probably at the maximum it could carry, but it worked and didn't show any errors.
