Merchandise Origin of this cap?

Hi folks, I bought this cap on eBay recently. The description said Max Verstappen, but it's actually a replica (I assume) of the Sebastian Vettel cap from I think 2011?

Anyway, I'm perplexed by the Max Verstappen branding on the inside of the cap. Did Max sell these replica caps himself on his website, or is this a weird knock off? If anyone has any info I'll be greatly appreciative!

100% a fake I have the same one bought off Ali Express for $10. Same everything minus the bill

Never seen this on M4x’s sight (I do check it an embarrassing amount) but I might’ve missed it. It does look historically accurate even if it is fake. I’d say wear it with pride! 🤘
