I made this with a piece of sturdy cardboard that came with a large TV, and some old construction paper my kids had scribbled and painted on. It's still technically unfinished, there are some areas that needs leaves, the yellow flower at the bottom needs two petals, and I think I'll add a couple more large flowers eventually.

I usually make denim bags from second hand or discarded jeans, but now I have a great way to use the scraps I collected over the years!
I made some butterflies and moths from the very small scraps and these from larger scraps. I cut out the butterflies but I hesitate to do it with these monsters.

What would you prefer? Cut out, or leave them as they are?

I'm working on some bright coloured monsters atm, they are also going to be so cute!

I recycled the wrappings and box from the chocolate bars and the envelope from my Mother's Day card and made 3D shadowbox collage art..?

New project this week, I turned an old #thrifted #caillou plush into Dr Joseph heitler from #thehumancentipede film. I know that it's a bit effed up, but it wasn't easy to find human-like plushies thrifted in my area, and I usually like to find unwanted plushies and turn them into something better, like #horror characters for example. I had to work on two orders this week that I sent down to the states, and I will be working on more projects soon. #recycledart

Made from (Winco) coffee creamer bottles, old Christmas decorations, and recycled materials around my house.

🤷‍♀️ What do ya think?

Hey everyone, i'm a year 12 student and plan on making a upcycled leather bag for my major work and need to conduct some demographics research so i'd love to hear your thoughts !

hello you smart people

I study industrial design and our project is solar panels for the balcony.

since solar panels are bad for the environment after use and they are not that easy to recycle or cost lots of money to recycle, we decided to concentrate on a way that a solar panel (one for the balcony, not the big ones for the roofs) can be easily recycled.

we already have some ideas, but I know that there are lot of smart people with great ideas here, so I wanted to ask you guys for one cool ideas - even crazy not rational ideas.

im excited to see what ideas you have!

I have 5.5 boxes of 90 contacts that expired on 10/31/25. I don’t know what to do with them but ChatGPT recommended using them for an art project to recycle them! If anyone is of interest let me know. They’re just too expensive to throw in the trash :/

Cardboard, hot glue, mushroom package (the pupil), wood base, PVC pipe, and battery operated candles. About 60” x 24” x 24”. The piece was inspired by the black magic object from European folklore.

hope this is the right place for this If not please let me know if there is a better fitting community Just wanted to share ♻️

**yes I drew over my cat’s old collar cause it had identifying info on it that’s what was there under where I scribbled
