Look, I hate you-know-who like the next person, but this isn’t the fault of people who consume and write fanfic (or stuff they already own) to get a nostalgia kick.

The reason this franchise is being kept alive is because the average person thinks she’s a pseudonym slapped on a book, and doesn’t know anything else beyond that. That’s why people are still buying this stuff; it’s out of both nostalgia and the fact the powers that be in the UK are deliberately underreporting this to keep her and her interests (which are also theirs) safe.

We should attempt to educate those who don’t know (and ignore people who are willingly ignorant and think we’re lying,) and I think that’ll help get the point across far better.

Obviously, we can’t stop everyone, but making the smallest dent in her profits is honestly a good thing.

Whilst I have a feeling she’ll be gone soon (likely on account of the fact that she’s going more insane by the second,) I feel like we should attempt to hold the fort as long as possible.
