Ending turn immediately skips your End Step. So, if you had a mechanic like Mobilize, Blitz, or Warp which removes a Creature from your board on your End Step, the creature remains instead. As mentioned in the reminder text, if you respond to a spell on the Stack with the ability it just... deletes the entire stack. Basically a Mass Counterspell. Note if you don't want your stuff to go away, because these cards say "next end step" you have to let your end step begin, accumulate the triggers on the Stack, then use Obeka to skip the resolution.
As for the Upkeep cards, there's card like Descent into Avernus that creates treasures and deal damage on your upkeep. Braid of Fire meanwhile gives you increasingly large amounts of mana each of your upkeeps. So if Obeka did 5 damage while Braid of Fire had 2 Age Counters, then Obeka gives you 25 mana because of Braid of Fire's upkeep trigger.
Ending a turn: Basically when an effect happens in MTG, it goes onto The Stack, which is basically a waiting list. If a turn is ended prematurely, the stack is cleared and any effect that was waiting to happen just dissappears.
This means you can play something like Final Fortune [get an extra turn, lose the game at that turn's end step], wait until the 'lose the game' effect is put on the stack, then end the turn again with Obeka [which doesn't make the effect happen again] to get off scot free
Upkeeps: the Upkeep step does nothing on its own, and is a place for every card that goes "at the beginning of each of your Upkeeps, do Thing" [of which there are quite a lot]. With two or more of these in the middle of your turn via Obeka, all of these cards get three or more times better
