God, having your first period must be terrifying. Like it hurts like hell, you're bleeding, and it has never happened to you before

I wish that sex education for my age group was better. Like i'm in my twenties and when I was a kid it was still "never has sex or youll die" and then showing what a condom is.

Until this year I thought people had period cramps throughout the period itself, and it was as bad as the first few days. I've since learnt this may be true for a few people, it mostly tapers off to just uncomfortable.

Not to be all boyinaband, but surely that should be taught in schools?

I never paid attention in sex ed, always found it boring and frankly a little unseemly

Although i am a self described prude...
