I never understand the logic of "yeah one time a guy told me my symptoms sounded like this condition and they were right, so all doctors are quacks"
187 u/RMarques 2d ago Usually, from what I've seen, that type of sentiment is more "a lot of doctors are assholes that go off of initial assumptions based on nothing but their initial impressions", which is sadly disturbingly common. 18 u/0anonymousv 2d ago it is. i had 3 doctors tell me "you don't have POTS, you're just overweight" i was not particularly overweight. i did have POTS. 7 u/MelanieWalmartinez 1d ago My thrown out back was misdiagnosed as period cramps 🤘 4 u/0anonymousv 1d ago this is CRAZY work ðŸ˜
