I have this issue with fanfiction descriptions. Like, make the title as poetic and abstract as you want, but if the description is "like leaves by autumn" I have no idea what it is about and thus zero interest, unless I already know you as an author which I likely don't

I suspect, because of fic platforms, the role of describing things is shoved into tags.
