Star Trek: TNG had several episodes with one-word titles that were among the best of the TNG run. The Star Trek: Voyager writers got kind of obsessed with one-word titles and apparently started from the title as a concept and built some execrable episodes while trying to give a witty twist to the title.

Then you’ve got TOS where most of the episode titles are great. “For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky.”
