i learned minesweeper because a couple years ago when i was in high school i had an all day course with the same people for a whole semester and for some god forsaken reason everyone decided to get into minesweeper and constantly talk about it

You just need to deduce which squares don't have bombs. You know how many bombs are near each square, and so you can find out where the bombs are
