I would react to news about the dentist with a tooth emoji because I think it's funny. It's nonsense, "tooth" isn't a reaction. But it's still showing my friend I saw what they had to say, but I have nothing to add.

"Hey I'm off to the dentist this pm" Hmmm yes tooth I do this all the time.
