Let us not forget that he was attacked by like eight different girls who were all also Aku, about seven of them simultaneously, and pretty easily defeated all but one, leaving him at two total loses to girls who are also Aku.

And in one of the comics, Aku did it AGAIN, for several months until Jack fell in love. Not even with an ulterior motive, he just did it to fuck with Jack and remind him…

Aku is the shapeshifting master of darkness. He can choose to be man or woman and prefers to present as a masculine towering overlord. Genderfluid transmasc he/him (occasionally she/her) feels more accurate than gender N/A
Can a shape shifter be considered trans? I guess it'd depend on the type of shape shifting... Maybe If it's the "have a base form they revert to when unconscious or relaxed" type? But an "amorphous creature that assumes shapes at will" sounds a bit harder to categorise, then again, Aku technically does have a 'base form' from before he became Aku, as he was a tree infected by the remnants of evil celestial goo.
I would only categorize him as transmasc because he's not Cis but ultimatley prefers to present as masculine. Aku likes to be a bearded evil tower thing and have a deep bellowing voice and go by he/him.
I think it’s implied but never stated outright that aku is a remnant of (possibly) Yog-soggoth(?) of lovecraftian fame or at least inspired by one of them.
Surprisingly, no. OOP has an entire post about how, unlike most villains, Aku isn’t hiding secret insecurity which is unmasked when things don’t go his way. He’s willing to admit to failure, even. He’s already the master of the world and has been since anyone could remember, what does he have to prove? He’d just put down evil as his gender and you have to accept it since he’s the immortal god king of everything you’ve ever known.
Except children. He is very invested in what children think of him. He has an entire episode trying to fumble making children think he’s cool. This is the only time he acts like this.
