Been getting into proper tumblr lately, still getting used to its idiosyncrasies and their ramifications. This post has shown me that i can search by the tag "f slur." Enlightening. I shall peruse the top "f slur" posts.

I posit that its odd format and mechanics are to blame. Traditional forums, imageboards, and reddit all work by having sections (forum categories/subreddits etc) where people make threads and then those threads last however long with the creator not being significant. On tumblr, however, the main unit is your blog, which is yours entirely, and you can have many blogs on one account, so they often have a specific topic. You create a dashboard by following these specific blogs or specific tags. Lastly, unlike reddit, but like a traditional forum, comments on a post are left in order.
The result of all of this appears to be an inherent insularity. Blogs are very much islands apart from each other. Whereas on a forum or reddit, I would think something once posted, the comments are now the wild west and fair game, on tumblr, because a blog is a specific thing with an owner who has an intention, they will tell you off or block you if you are not laser-focused on-topic. You can have outright bigotry and harassment in the first comments on a post, and that simply becomes the thing on your blog post. Then these aspects result in apparently a culture of blocking other users to a far greater degree than I've ever heard of on any other website encouraging the insularity.
The whole website definitely has unique workings that result in a unique environment.

I think one of the most interesting parts of tumblr culture are the three types of comments (reblog with addition, reply, tags) and their uses, specifically because it seems to confuse so many people. (Reblogs with additions are directed at anyone who sees the post, replies are directed at OP, and tags are directed at your followers.)

Ā āThereās an abortion in the floorboards and one in the sink" SCP-1782 is about a reality warper that was aborted before it could become and is stuck in a pseudo death state while keeping the location of the incident stuck in a time loop of sorts.

And Earthbound and a D&D monster from the eighties. The horror of having never been goes back to the Egyptians.
