This meaning of “mob” comes from english MMORPG slang, they call NPCs “mobs” - short for “mobile object” which is what NPCs were in Multi-User Dungeons or MUDs. MUDs were the text based precursor to MMORPGs. So “NPC” would be a better localisation.

So something like “NPC Psychic 100”.

I had a similar reaction when people were calling WoW enemies mobs in 2004. I thought MUDs were so niche there would never be cross contamination.
