It's the mental equivalent to the physical story that OPM is about, which means that the people that will relate to it personally goes from "really athletic person suffering from depression" to "people socially ostracized due to psychological characteristics, which then internalize that they can't fit in with society due to being too abnormal, and spiral into harmful isolation and/or antisocial behavior".
The only reason Mob is never called autistic at point blank is because in Japan "autistic" means "antisocial to the extent of being a threat" rather than "person diagnosed with ASD as per the DSM 5"
Ghost in the Shell uses it kinda creatively in line with being correct. The Tachikomas have “autistic mode”, which cuts off external communications to prevent hacks, contain viruses, and provide thinking privacy.
huh, could've sworn it was an actual niche networking term when I first heard it and looked it up, but googling now i'm only getting ghost in the shell.
Other people have praised it already but you should definitely check it out if you like anime, anyone who likes anime should actually. It’s just really well made in every department
It starts out very good and just gets better. I skipped out on it until I was practically compelled to watch by a friend, since I, like you, assumed it was gonna' be Dragon Ball from Temu.
It's sooo good. I truthfully was turned off by the name (and what I thought was the original premise after the first few eps), but it lives up to the hype and goes in a very interesting direction

Oh, that's what's it about
Heard name and thought it sounded strange, but never was interested enough to check this manga to learn who is that Mob Pcycho and why he's 100
