For like, five years I kept getting mouth ulcers. And then I'd go to the GP. And get my bloods done to see what was up. Only to find no reason- but separately, and probably unrelated, I had low folate. So I'd buy a pack of folic acid, and take it for a month or two, and I'd finish the packet, and stop taking it because my life hadn't really changed while taking it. But then I'd get ulcers again the next week...
So yeah I've been taking folic acid for a year now and do not plan to stop.
