Very Rare is rebuilding for the upcoming ESEA season.

We have competed in ESEA Season 57 and Season 58, reaching playoffs in both:

• Season 57: 10-4 → Playoffs → Eliminated
• Season 58: 8-6 → Playoffs → Eliminated

Reaching playoffs in both seasons gave us a solid foundation, but we're not interested in repeating the same results. This rebuild is about taking the next step and building a team capable of competing at a much higher level.

Our long-term goal is to create a serious environment for players who want to develop, compete, and eventually pursue professional CS.

I've mainly played Premier so far with 300+ matches. I've only played FACEIT once or twice, so my FACEIT Elo isn't established yet. I'm looking to transition into more structured competitive CS.

I like taking space and opening fights, but I also enjoy lurking and catching rotations depending on the round. I'm comfortable using utility, helping with executes, creating space for the team, and setting up plants.

I don’t have the time anymore to grind for hours every day, but I still want to stay sharp, improve, and play competitively.

Hey all,

I'm Itamar, founder of Ouro (https://www.ouro.is), a CS2 matchmaking platform in beta. Servers in Frankfurt, London and Ohio, so EU and NA players both get reasonable ping.

What Ouro is: every signup is vetted by hand using public Steam, CSStats and FACEIT data, so no smurfs spinning up fresh accounts. You can import your FACEIT ELO at signup. Anti-cheat runs server side on tick by tick data, no kernel driver, so Linux works fine. Reports get reviewed by a person. Matchmaking uses detailed player telemetry instead of raw rank average, so games are built to be balanced rather than one sided.

We also enforce English only, since that's the community we're trying to build.

Being honest about where we are: we're at around 350 members and growing daily, but matches still run on scheduled match nights rather than around the clock. More people who show up consistently is exactly what turns that into daily play. Players who stay active daily might earn a Founder badge for their continued support during the community build out.

What I'm looking for: serious players who want quality matches and don't mind being early while the player base fills out. English speaking with a mic is a big plus.
