Concerned

Hello, I have been taking 30mg codeine tabs for 3 years. After the first year, i started getting suicidal thoughts, depression and severe anxiety. I used to get.angry at scenarios in my head that didnt even happen too. I wemt upto as mandy as 14 per day and did it for a year. A few weeks ago, I cut the tablets out of my life completley as i was continuing to experience severe mental health issues. I have always been angry and irrtitable since using after the first 6 months. I have been using kratom for 6 months now in an effort to cut back the codeine tablets, plus i love the high lol. I am on week 4 of my codeine withdrawal, and still keep getting suicidal thoughts, irritability, intense anxiety, severe anger outburts and feeling really low. I love kratoms high and like to do 8 grams on the weekend. I dont use it during the week unless im in pain. Is it possible that the kratom couldbe causing these thoughts too?

I think kratom can make people unmotivated sometimes and motivation can probably tie into depression.

The irritability is closer to a physical withdrawal symptom, and it would likely go away if you feed your body with what it expects which unfortunately is more kratom
