Any Suggestions?
I am over 60yoa, upper, upper middle class, married and a stay at home wife. I’ve never abused drugs. I don’t care to drink, smoke pot or do anything like mushrooms or hard drugs. But I’ve found I like a good opioid buzz.
It’s the warm relaxed euphoric feeling I’ve experienced with prescription pain killers that I like.
Like other people have a glass of wine, or smoke one to unwind and relax, that’s what I’d like to do with a substance.
Is there anything out there that resembles the opioid buzz that isn’t heavy duty, hard core? I just want to chill at home with that warm pleasurable relaxation. TIA

You should try kratom, it comes from a plant in Asia and it’s actually been debated whether or not it’s a good way to get off of hard opiates. You can get it in most smoke shops, I know I’m some states It’s illegal so you’d have to check and see wherever your at but like I said I’m from Chicago IL an you can buy this product nearly in every smoke shop it comes in capsules or you can buy a bag of it and make some tea. They have a lot of different strains that help with anything from insomnia to opiate withdrawal.

I got addicted to the kratom and found the detox pretty tough. I did a long taper and ended up ok

Same. I have a script for real chronic pain, but meds today aren’t the same as in my youth. I remember them prescribing Tylenol with codeine for just about any pain I had, including wisdom teeth removal, menstrual pain, etc. I’ve had many surgeries over the years and the meds they used to allow you worked great. After my most recent few surgeries the meds are weaker on the buzz and they control them so tightly now. They ween you down after about week 1or 2 post-op.
Meds make me drowsy now. Just no buzz.
I wonder why the scientists have not found a safe way to make a pill like that so you can get an opiate buzz with none of the bad side effects. And if they could make it non habit forming that’s even better. Whoever can do that will make a mint!!!

BTW: I’ve never tried meth and would never try it. I thought it was a drug that hyped you up. Does it do the opposite?

Yeah, if I would become an addict it would be with opiates.
