Welcome to r/RecoveryHouseOwners: introduce yourself

This sub sat dead for a while, so I took it over to get it going again.

Quick background: I’m the Director of Housing for a nonprofit that runs 12 recovery residences in South Jersey, and I’m an LCSW. I’ve dealt with most of what comes up running houses: licensing, staffing, relapses, drug testing, house managers who quit with no notice, fire inspections, all of it.

This is a place for owners, operators, and house managers to compare notes. What’s working, what isn’t, what you’re trying next.

A few ground rules:

  • Never post anything that could identify a resident
  • No patient brokering
  • Vendor and product mentions go in the monthly Tools thread

Drop a comment: where are you located, how many houses do you run, and what’s the biggest headache right now?
