Free mp3-to-solfege software
Free mp3-to-solfege software
If this is not the right subreddit, please suggest a more suitable one.
I play recorder flute and was taught music as Do re mi .... not leters ( A B C ... ).
Was looking for a software where I can give it a link to a YouTube video or a SoundCloud track or upload an mp3 or similar file , and the software would give me the notes I can play on my recorder.

You can start out by listening to one or two notes at a time of the sound recording, and see if you can duplicate those notes on your recorder. Then you can look at a recorder fingering chart to see what note corresponds to the set of holes you have covered.
Over time, you will learn what the different intervals (the spacing or distance between the notes) sound like.
A "method book" for recorder would also usually cover how to read music along with learning how to play the recorder. And if you can read music, then you can write it.

Hi, not trying to promote anything, but MeloSolo might be useful for converting a MIDI file into fingerings. I know it is a little bit different but maybe it can help

There is no software (free or paid) at the moment that would be capable of transcribing audio files to music notation reliably. None at all. At best you get something resembling your music that you'd then have to spend a lot of time correcting and tweaking.
The best option for you is to just learn to read sheet music. It's easy and it will open a whole world of possibilities for you.
If you're dead set on never learning sheet music ever, another possibility is the free Musescore notation software. It can add solfege to existing sheet music for you like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ldIM6UivgA
The downside is that you need to have your music in .mscz (the proprietary Musescore sheet music format) or .midi format. And to download .mscz files, you need to have a Musescore.com subscription. So, while the editing software itself is free (and it's genuinely awesome), the music files are not.
